Plastic waste, over-exploitation of natural resources, and unsustainable practices contribute to global ecological challenges. Today, companies are encouraged to find ways to reduce their carbon footprint. France's AGEC (Anti-Waste for a Circular Economy) law, enacted on February 10, 2020, promotes sustainable practices and the elimination of single-use plastics, encouraging us to rethink our approach. Packaging is a powerful lever for change, and with this in mind, we have redesigned the packaging for our large format cartridge range. ![Bannière_Packs-kraft_Grand-Format_400x250_2024_EN](https://blog.altkin-group.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Banni%C3%A8re_Packs-kraft_Grand-Format_400x250_2024_EN.png?width=470&height=294&name=Banni%C3%A8re_Packs-kraft_Grand-Format_400x250_2024_EN.png) ## Official launch of kraft packaging for the Large Format range **Following the success of our plastic-free packaging for laser cartridges, we are expanding our commitment to responsible printing by applying this approach to our [large format range](https://armor-owa.com/remanufactured-cartridges/catalogue-ink-jet-plotter). This evolution is in line with our ecological vision, aiming to integrate sustainability into all aspects of production.** **As a leader in circular economy since 2015, we prioritize reducing our environmental impact. By adapting our packaging to current and future sustainability standards, we are taking another step toward fostering durable and eco-friendly printing solutions.** ## **R&D : packaging aligned with future sustainability standards**  Transitioning to kraft packaging for our large format range was not in line with simply a change of material but a rigorous R&D process. Through extensive testing and optimization, this new packaging meets current standards and anticipates stricter future environmental regulations. This proactive approach ensures compliance and sustainability while maintaining our commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. ## The benefits of eco-friendly kraft packaging Adopting kraft packaging offers significant benefits for both our clients and the environment: - **Reduction of plastic waste**: By replacing plastic with kraft paper, we reduce reliance on non-renewable resources and cut down on plastic waste. - **Lower environmental impact**: Kraft is biodegradable and more easily recyclable, minimising the environmental footprint of packaging.  - **Strength and protection**: Our new packaging not only supports sustainability but also ensures that cartridges arrive intact and ready for use. This step further aligns with our goal of reducing environmental impact and offering value to both our customers and the ecosystem.   Interested in our remanufactured large format ink cartridges?
